Selection Process

Recruitment examination stages

1Stage 1: Cutoff-based Shortlisting of Engineering Graduates (Cumulative Percentage up to 6th/8th Semester)
2Stage 2: Services Selection Board (SSB Interview at Prayagraj, Bhopal, Bengaluru, or Jalandhar - 5 Days)
3Stage 3: Special Medical Examination at Military Hospitals
4Stage 4: Joining Indian Military Academy (IMA) Dehradun for 49-week Pre-Commission Training

Scheme / Pattern of Examination

Direct Entry: No written test is conducted for TGC entry
Selection is based 100% on performance in SSB Interview (Stage-I Screening and Stage-II Testing)
Training at IMA Dehradun at Govt expense with stipend of ₹56,100 per month during training

Merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in competitive stages as per guidelines.
