Upper Age Relaxation (Reserved Categories)

JRF Age Relaxation: OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD, Third Gender and Women applicants: 5 years (up to 35 years) | Candidates with LL.M: 3 years

Selection Process

Recruitment examination stages

2Stage 2: Top 6% of appearing candidates declared qualified for Assistant Professor eligibility
3Stage 3: JRF Award Allocation to top-tier percentile qualifiers as per GOI reservation policy

Paper I: Teaching & Research Aptitude, Reasoning, Comprehension, Divergent Thinking (50 Questions, 100 Marks, 1 Hour)
Paper II: Domain Subject chosen by candidate (100 Questions, 200 Marks, 2 Hours)
Combined Exam Duration: 3 Hours continuous (no break between papers)
No Negative Marking in UGC-NET
