Selection Process

Recruitment examination stages

  1. 1Stage 1: Preliminary Examination (Objective - Reasoning 40Q + Numerical Ability/QA 40Q = 80 Marks, 45 Minutes)
  2. 2Stage 2: Main Examination (Objective - 200 Questions, 200 Marks, 2 Hours)
  3. 3Stage 3: Interview (for Officer Scale I, II, III only - 100 Marks; No interview for Office Assistant)
  4. 4Stage 4: Provisional Allotment to participating Regional Rural Banks
Scheme / Pattern of Examination
  • Prelims (Office Assistant & Scale I): Reasoning (40Q, 40M) + Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude (40Q, 40M) = 80 Questions, 80 Marks, Composite time of 45 Minutes
  • Negative Marking: 1/4th (0.25) marks deducted per wrong answer
  • Mains: Reasoning (40Q, 50M), Computer Knowledge (40Q, 20M), General Awareness (40Q, 40M), English/Hindi Language (40Q, 40M), Numerical Ability / Quantitative Aptitude (40Q, 50M) = 200 Questions, 200 Marks, 2 Hours
Merit list will be prepared based on marks secured in competitive stages as per guidelines.
